"Getting a washer or dryer took a very long time because people would either forget about their stuff or add 60 minutes. Would be helpful if there was a basket to put someone else’s clothes, so you could take your turn (give a 10-15 pickup window or it goes in a basket). Breakfast was fantastic!"

"Room was clean and big enough for 3 people. They have washing and dryer combo machines on 2 floors so we were able to do our washing which dried properly. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast wasn't the best so we only had breakfast at the hotel one morning out of the 4 nights we stayed there. We loved our stay at the Richmond hotel Ekimae and would definitely book there again. The hotel is within walking distance to the Kyoto Train Station and Yodobashi Camera Centre...

My wife was travelling pregnant at the time of our stay and they did anything and everything to accommodate her. They even folded up some very beautiful origami with a personalized note wishing her and the baby good health. We both felt so at home at this hotel and it will be our go to stay every time in Kyoto!"
