"Best breakfast Buffet in the world! Homemade high number of Japanese delicacies which had me going back again and again. My room (203) faced the temple across the street, yet I barely heard any street noise. The staff treated me like a most valued customer. And they assisted in an issue with shipping a package back to the states. Despite the slight dings here and there, the hotel was spotless and I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I return to Kyoto."

The staff are wonderful, they go above and beyond and the hotel offers amenities from toothbrushes and combs to free coffee, soft drinks, and complementary sake and wine. Would stay there again."
