"Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. Floor was heated, including bathroom floor. We especially enjoyed the company of the property’s two friend dogs who came by my cabin and played ball with us (the dog brought its own ball to ask us to play, so cute!) The only one thing I would ask for is a little shelf in the shower area for us to place our own...

"We were amongst the first few guests at this outstanding new hotel. The location is jaw-droppingly stunning in every direction with sea views on one side and lake/Mountain views on the other. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was immaculate with a very comfortable bed and high quality down duvet and pillows. "This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay. The northern lights viewing space at the top of the tower is incredible! It’s quiet, cozy & has seating all around. "We stayed here on our first night in Iceland with a plan to tour the south coast. Check-in was issued by email and super easy to get into the building and room with our code. The room was as expected with a coffee machine/tv/private bathroom and overall for the price this stay was fantastic, a great pit stop if you don’t want to be travelling from the city centre out to destinations every day. We had no issues with noise, the bed was comfy and the room was lovely and toasty during winter time....
