"We booked the stay last minute, not really knowing what to expect. We were happily surprised to find a 900 year old castle on the top of the hill, with its own church (which we were given the keys to see ourselves), towers and old hallways. The house was on 3 floors with 4 bedrooms, perfect for the 4 adults and 4 kids in our group, plus a rooftop with amazing views. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Considering the price, it might be the best value for money place I've ever stayed...

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful. They even reached out via WhatsApp to coordinate our arrival, which made everything effortless. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The location could not be better, just steps away from shopping, restaurants, and all the charm Orvieto has to offer. If you are an American or anyone unfamiliar with Orvieto, just book this hotel. You will not be disappointed."

"Ottimo luogo per staccare la spina dallo stress quotidiano, posto molto silenzioso, in mezzo alle montagne, relax assoluto ma comunque a pochi minuti dalle cascate delle Marmore, da Terni e da tanti altri caratteristici paesi da visitare e dove si può mangiare molto bene. L'unico neo è la strada per raggiungere l'alloggio che è un po' stretta e scoscesa, però ne vale davvero la pena. Il proprietario molto gentile e pieno di consigli per far vivere al meglio l'esperienza "

"Siamo arrivati ed all'accoglienza abbiamo trovato Marcello con la moglie che ci hanno messi a nostro completo agio, siamo entrati nell'appartamento curato tutto nei minimi particolari profumatissimo e con ogni comfort ! "Posizione perfetta .. in pieno centro, a pochi passi dalla stazione. Qualche disavventura con acqua calda e wifi (i telefoni in camera e in balcone non funzionano) tv ... basterbbe poco per renderlo un buon soggiorno. Inclusa una colazioncina da due soldi. Avere il bollitore in camera, ma neanche acqua o una bustina di té, o un bicchiere ... tanto vale non metterlo. Chi lo gestisce gentilissima nel risolvere gli inconvenienti"

You can also use a common area that has a table, but it is shared with others staying there. The checkout is actually 10am, not 2pm as listed and a person entered our rooms at 10:30 to start cleaning. The breakfast included is at a train station that you need to drive to but without parking.
