"Upon arrival (slightly early) I was greeted by a lovely lady on reception; very helpful. Check-in was quick & efficient. Good sized room & very comfy bed. Compact but super-clean & functional bathroom, with a great powerful shower. High quality towels & linens throughout. Room amenities were of a high standard, plenty of hanging space for clothes, plus drawers for my bits. Spacious desk/workspace, with plenty of power outlets. "Got a really good price on a room with a gym on site. There was decent parking available and I got parked up near the entrance. I had a room on the ground floor which was close to the gym as well as the entrance. The room was pretty standard but what was required for me. I got shown to the gym which had new equipment and had plenty to choose from. I was then told it was an extra £5 to use it which would have been nice to know as part of booking the stay. "Thoughtful, friendly receptionists, cheerful serving staff, room had a beautiful view and was clean. No complaints other than old cobwebs in the swimming pool windows and pool was crowded and noisy due to kids swimming lessons, which cut the useable area of pool to half"
