"As close to right downtown as can be at this price point. Understood what I was getting into with shared bathrooms, hearing other guests absolutely destroying the toilet while I'm taking a shower, not surprised the laundry card machine and multiple vending machines ate my change; it's whatever, I've stayed in student housing before and have had a great time. This time, however, was completely derailed by finding a bed bug directly before bed halfway through the trip.

"The hotel and staff are fabulous. We booked a suite. We were put in the Rhythm tower. We were fine with the room except the sink was slow to drain, and the sofa had some stains. I went to the front desk the following day to ask for a sheet to throw over the sofa. They insisted we should move to another room. Sent up concierge to move rooms. In my opinion, this is what good service looks like in this day and age. Highly recommended the Jag."

"Charming historic property that has been well maintained as a historic building but our shower was less than awesome as far as quality and pressure. The breakfast was good and there is coffee and tea available but only till 9pm which meant no warm drinking after an evening out. The staff was pleasant but not as personable as some of the smaller places we stayed. Overall it was a charming and unique stay but we had hoped for more on our splurge night."

"This is a cute and charming place if you like that old fashioned vibe. It had too many decorations for my taste though. The kitchen is very dated and the breakfast was self serve and very basic. Our room was very dusty, but it must be difficult to dust around the many items on display. There are a lot of labels and signs for the rules and regulations which took away from some of the charm."
