"The floors were dirty in the bathroom. Bed sheets had what appeared to be stains! Not sure the bedding/ linen was clean. Smelled like mold and so did I and my clothing! People smoking at entrance from the back resturant made me nauseated.and it followed you into the building. Very run down and old!"

My biggest concerns with the property were the cramped parking available behind the hotel, the very cramped bathroom in my room and the lack of places to plug in electronics. I had to move the mattress on the bed to access an outlet and unplug something so I could plug in my electronics. "Very nice historic building. Renewable and comfortable. We didn’t get breakfast because it wasn’t available until after 830 am and we had an earlier flight. Also the coffee service was nice but for those who like cream it was a little lacking as there was none provided. The minibar was fun and unique with great treats and Maine made items. The gym at the sister hotel was fantastic but not available for early morning workout but over all a nice stay. Really ideal for a laidback traveler"

"Beautiful place to stay in the middle of a quiet street and walking distance to many spots. The rooms and common areas were clean and beautifully maintained. Staff was ready to answer any questions you had via phone or text. I loved this inn and would choose it again. Definitely recommend it !"

"Such a great, different, non-hotel feeling option to stumble upon when I was in Portland, Maine. GREAT location. Feels much more boutique hotel like, quaint, way more appeal than a big "chain" hotel. I would want to book for more than a week to be able to use kitchen and flexibility of apartment-like feel."
