"We arrived around 10pm with our 1 year old. Check-in was straight forward, but upon entering our room, we immediately walked out and went back to the check-in counter due to the overwhelming vape smell mixed with a musky scent, as if someone tried to cover it up. When we informed the front desk staff member of this, all she cared about was asking if we had used anything in the room. I had checked in maybe 10 minutes prior--only enough time for us to move the car and bring a load of our baggage...

"The hotel itself and the room was very clean, very friendly staff. We stayed here for my son's Navy bootcamp Graduation, it was about a 8-10 minute drive which was nice. The hotel also offers a free continental breakfast which was convienent for the morning of the graduation."

"Bedroom had a few issues bed was super soft and not enough pillows. TV wouldn't work correctly. Couldn't use hot tub. Staff wasn't at front desk and pool was closed over the maintenance time."

"They no longer have Kuerig in the room. I stay there often. Hotel says "enjoy fresh coffee 24/7 in lobby". If you want to get ready with a coffee, you have to get dressed and go down to get coffee and then back to room. I expect coffee in my room. Holiday Inn Manitowoc had a Keurig Thursday. Back door to parking lot has a place for key card, but you didn't need to use it. Anyone could walk in 24/7. I assume it wasn't being monitored. Front desk said you only need to use it in the winter. "This hotel is the definition of “you get what you pay for”. Beds were functional for sleeping one night, probably 2.5 stars for cleanliness (one dirty towel at checking), although breakfast was better than expected."

"We reserved a two bedroom two bath, kitchenette that would sleep 5 in total. Up from TN for our son’s Navy Boot Camp graduation. Very Clean rooms. No signage or discussion about linen exchange and none offered. (We didn’t ask, but made do). Shower / tub on one side did not drain properly and we had to stand in the built up water.
