"The room was hot and very uncomfortable. There was an AC unit installed but not operational yet. They did put a small fan in the room and gave us an additional one but the room would not cool down even with the window open. There were many others in the hotel complaining about the heat but there was really nothing the staff could do to help out as there was no real circulation of air in our room since the open window faced out into a confined court yard. We booked 3 nights but ended up moving...

"Property is very conveniently located, close to bus terminal, quick taxi to train station, lots of great restaurants in area. Breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of fresh options including hot dishes, overnight oats and toppings, yogurt and fresh fruit. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Also recommend nearby attractions like the Cork ghost tour and Sultan’s restaurant for great vegetarian food."

"I would recommend this hotel. The only downside of this place is no onsite or near by parking. You need to park in parkades that are about a 10-min walk from the hotel. With any booking you make in the Ireland, always book the breakfast of you intend to eat breakfast. It will save you a ton if you prebook and pay for it."

"A fantastic hotel with truly wonderful staff that go above and beyond in being welcoming and helpful. The hotel, the accommodations and the staff just really brought Cork to life for us. "While the strong point of this hotel was its central location there were many issues. The lift was very unreliable on the way up with door closing after a few seconds of opening. The life then wouldn't return and I had to climb 7 flights of stairs to where my room was. The shower hot water was unreliable, it would come one for one minute and then go cold. "Nice clean room in a great location"

"Helpful staff at the front desk. Good to have a community room with kitchen available, stove, kettle, tv, couches, Needs more utensils for eating meals. Helpful to have tea bags, milk, sugar, toiletries etc at the front desk. Very loud banging of doors that Interrupts sleep. Needs silent closures for doors. Needs clothes/ towel hanger in bathroom. Price is too high for very loud noise with doors banging and an interrupted sleep . "

"Good hotel if you’re looking for somewhere near to Cork city centre for either Cork visits or a base for wider touring of the area. 5-10 minutes walk from the centre and there was parking on site. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast choice was good. We didn’t have other meals there so can’t comment beyond that.
