This tiny surfing village in Norway has a population of 15. Surfers flock from all over the world to surf in this perfect wave condition. It is cold but the hardy do not seem to mind. On this particular evening the sky erupted in #green. I braved the frigid water as it reflected back onto the beach. The tide was rising rapidly but I was mesmerized by the #green lights of the sky dancing over my head. I could see the Milky Way, it was a wonderful discovery. If you happen to be in Northern Norway, it is worth a visit. #greenphotos

Taken in Hov, Lofoten in Norway on 12/2/2016 after day after day of awful weather. Snow, sleet, gale.. you name it. We almost lost hope after days of not seeing the sky. We tried the night before without any success. And then this happened..it was all worth it.

#beachtips If a wild camping paradise exists, it would be on Kvalvika Beach on the Lofoten Islands in Norway. This place can only be reached on foot, after doing a mountain hike, and is always packed with wild campers who come there to enoy the midnight sun. I shot this photo in July 2017, around midnight, when the sun was at its lowest point and shade was covering parts of the beach.
