"We have found an absolute treasure in downtown Clemson, S.C.! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiling faces that made us feel like we were honored guests. From the maintenance staff to the front desk, everyone was eager to help us relax and enjoy our stay. The bar service was excellent, and we really enjoyed our hand mixed signature cocktails on the terrace overlooking downtown and Death Valley. The hotel is just steps from the campus and about a 15-minute walk to the world's best ice cream at Clemson's famous '55 Exchange. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the bathrooms are spotless, and the bedding in our room was perfectly comfortable. There are plenty of boutiques, restaurants, and bars in walking distance. There are also a number of state parks, Lake Hartwell, and the South Carolina Botanical Garden if you love to get outside. The Clemson University campus, though experiencing exponential growth and construction projects, is still full of natural beauty worth exploring. Being it was summer and most students had left campus for break; the area bars and restaurants were much less crowded and relaxed. We look forward to staying here again soon."
