"The hotel has a welcoming traditional vibe as you enter through mature gardens to a courtyard with a fountain. Our room was a very good size with a comfortable bed, dressing room and a proper full sized bath. There is a choice of modern or traditional. Breakfast was nice, a good cooked breakfast and fresh fruit was a plus, although some cold items had not been replenished and there was no choice of yoghurt. "This was an amazing castle! Everything was so beautiful. From the architecture, to the fountain in the courtyard (with lights at night), to the canopy bed, fancy bay window, and chandelier in our bedroom. Incredible! The staff was so friendly and attentive, and the food was good, as well. "

"Hotel staff very welcoming and check in was excellent very quick with Grace on front desk. Very clean and tidy rooms with plenty of tea and coffees. Powerful shower which is good to have. Delicious Gigantic fish and chips! Lovely grounds to walk in and great venue for weddings. Stayed here before can highly recommend. Plenty of Free parking "
