"Super friendly staff! Cozy B&B feel. Great location, walk to town or train station! LIRR and Pines super convenient. Amazing authentic chef made-to-order breakfast!! (And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

"The shower hot water didn’t work when we got there. After the maintenance staff fixed it it lasted not even a day before we lost any pressure. The manager was rude when I came down to have someone fix the shower."

"Arrived there one hour before check in. They gave someone else their room right away but made me wait an hour. Said it was because they were busy but the parking lot was empty. Don’t usually stay at hiltons anymore because of a bad experience but thought I would give this one a try. Big mistake. "

"Bathrooms are dangerous and unacceptable. They still have old fixtures like low bathtubs and shower curtains. Also bathroom lack counter or shelf space. Will not stay there again. "

"WE USUALLY STAY AT THE HAMPTON AT BROOKHAVEN BUT THEY WERE TOO EXPENSIVE THIS TIME SO WE CHOSE HOMEWOOD SUITES WHICH WAS FANTASTIK. VERY CLEAN AND NEW OR AT LEAST LOOKS NEW . WELL MAINTAINED. VERY HAPPY THAT WE WENT THERE AND WILL USE THEM THE NEXT TIME WE ARE IN TOWN . VERY HAPPY WITH THEM ALL THE WAYAROUND. BREAKFAST WAS WONDERFUL ALL THAT YOU COULD ASK FOR."

"The room was ready, clean and comfortable. Rather large. Air conditioning in room did not seem to work. Got s little warm overnight. Elevators had outages which led to some small waits. Casino was fun. All employees (check in, cleaning staff, casino staff and bistro) were friendly and helpful."

"We booked a non-smoking room and got the opposite. The whole building smelled of cigarettes! The bathtub was dirty; the window screen was broken and so was the security bar."

"The overall stay was acceptable however there was an issue with one of their security guards. I will spare you the details, but it was very unprofessional. Beds, towels, and bathroom were all clean, but the bedroom carpet was filthy and I could tell that it had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while. The nightstand was sticky, and there were a pair of somebody’s eyeglasses on the floor between the right side of the nightstand and the wall.
