However the decor is very dated and in need of modernisation to meet the 5 star standard it claims. The bathroom in particular was from the eighties and room had no modern amenities such as latest power points "

"Lovely bargain hotel, just a few minutes walk from the train and bus station, and easy to walk into the Old Town and Marina within 10 minutes, the area around the hotel is very scruffy with derelict buildings and busy side streets, but the hotel itself is clean, comfortable and great value for money. reception staff speak really good English and very helpful and friendly, we could book in at 12pm. rooms are quite small, but beds and pillows really comfy, everything spotlessly clean, and we paid...

We were given several excuses none of which were accurate. They did apologize but I would have thought they could have gone further like offer a free breakfast?"

"We stayed for only one night here to explore Faro and catch an early morning flight the next day. Hotel staff were very friendly and made arrangements for our 4am shuttle to the airport. This is a great location to explore Faro, being inside the old city walls, there were lots of avenues and sites to explore and lots of restaurant options all within easy walking distance. The room was clean, and everything worked. Had a good sleep here prior to our long journey home. "
