Clean room. They clean it everyday unlike other hotels. Friendly stuffs. The bed is a bit cheap but this isn’t a hotel so its okay. Space is tiny but it’s right by the Davie street so I guess it’s okay. They give you both heater and the air conditioning so that’s good. I just wish the bed is a bit firmer or better quality if I have to complain. But overall I enjoyed the experience.

A comfortable and affordable stay. And everyone from front desk to cleaning services were friendly and helpful. I like the fact that all the rooms open into an open air central garden/courtyard. And the location is super convenient for walking or cycling to anything downtown, or to get to the skytrain.

I traveled alone for a three night stay. I was warmly greeted by Marky who gave me an available room. I had a king room on the 3rd floor with a view of the hospital across the street. There is the occasional ambulance siren occasionally but I slept very well all three nights. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom extremely clean and renovated. I turned off the heater because I prefer things cooler. I also liked being able to crack open the windows for ventilation. I loved being able to microwave some delicious leftovers in the basement area where the customer washing machines are. I also loved having access to regular TV programming, not just the ability to cast/stream. Overall I enjoyed my stay and found the staff, especially Marky, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

A charming hotel right in the heart of the city. Equidistant from several lively streets. Excellent and friendly service. Free coffee with clean espresso machines. I stayed in two different rooms: the first was very small, quiet, and functional. The second was much larger, facing the street; it was pleasant, but one of the windows didn’t seem to close properly, and the noise from the cars could be bothersome. Parking was excellent, and there was a beautiful inner courtyard landscaped with plants. I have fond memories of my stay. It’s a bit pricey, but that’s typical for this area.

I was charged twice on my mastercard. Neither The Burrard or Expedia will not reemburse. Needless to say I will not use this hotel nor Expedia again. I am out close to $200 because of these organizations.There are other good hotels in this vicinity for next time. It's incredible that this kind of thing still happens in the 21st century.

This was the hotel of almost. It was almost really cool and retro, but the art was creepy, and they didn’t quite follow through. It was almost clean except for the spider in the tub and hair on my clean towels. It was almost peaceful except the played music too loud and all day. The room was almost comfortable except it was too hot and the portable AC unit was loud and took up too much of the room. The bed was almost nice, but the mattress was definitely not a pillow top and bounced when you moved at all. The staff was excellent and extremely welcoming. They were the only truly great thing about the place. Would I stay there again? Likely not.

We were cold during the night. The blankets are thin and the heating was not turned on due to standing right next to my side of the bed. It was being loud and not very clean as it opened its wings, I could see inside. I did not want the air be blown right into my face like that so I put on 4 layers and slept like a rock. The mattress was king and very comfortable. The inner courtyard is very quiet with beautiful plantation of banana and palm trees. The fake grass walkways are super quiet on the outside corridors so you can`t hear the coming and goings on the floors.
