"The room has a great view of the mountains & the planes landing. The staff are very helpful & friendly from the minute you step through the front entrance. The food at Globe@ YVR are top notch. We enjoyed their pool & hot tub. I wish we had more time to spend at the sauna. Would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean, not fancy, but I was there to get a good night's sleep, which I did. Loved the shuttle service to and from YVR. Driver knew I was going downtown on the train and dropped me off at a station closer to town rather than drive me all the way back to the airport. Vancouver hotel prices are scary. This was the cheapest of an expensive lot that I saw in close proximity to YVR."

"This was my second time staying at the Best Western Plus Burnaby. It’s located in a highly walkable area near a couple of Korean grocery stores and plenty of restaurants (including KFC, hot pot spots, and boba shops). The staff members were friendly, as usual. Breakfast was served in a different dining room this time, though it offered fewer varieties than before. The facilities were decent."

"We stayed in a two queen bed room, but the air conditioner was very far from the second bed, so almost no air reached that side of the room. It became extremely uncomfortable and felt suffocating during the night. Very bad experience overall."

"I was really disappointed with my stay. I paid over $480 CAD for a room specifically advertised as having a patio with a water view, but the room I was initially assigned was unacceptable for that price point. The bathroom door would not even close properly, and the “patio” view was nothing like what was advertised.
The patio itself directly connected to a common area and mainly faced the back of the building rather than offering a meaningful water view. The patio furniture was also very dated...

"We were upgraded to a panoramic view room at no additional charge. The view was amazing. The room was clean and the floor was quiet. We were close to everything you could possibly need. "My girlfriend and I stayed here over the long weekend for the Richmond Night Market. The location was perfect very close to the Night Market and many restaurants, which made it really convenient for our trip.

"The hotel check-in was under construction. The area ch was blocked off with plywood. There were a few tables and chairs in the small area to be used for breakfast but also for those checking in and out.
We weren’t told about this and were not compensated for the inconvenience. I would have changed hotels if I had c known ahead of time. My husband is legally blind and I am limited in mobility.
There is no crosswalk near the hotel to give access to restaurants or stores across the street."

"Several reasons why this hotel is a good place to stay: the window in the room opened several inches to let in fresh air, the air conditioner/heating unit actually worked the way it should, the TV had multiple channels and the channel guide actually worked, comfortable beds, firmer than normal hotel pillows. Small things that a lot of hotels don't have that make your stay much more enjoyable."

After contacting Expedia they too refused to give me my original payment back after having my card locked from the charges and the hotel not helping me. Not only that but received horrible customer service at check in. I was told by Expedia that I should contact my bank for fraud against the hotel. Do not book through Expedia or the hotel if you want to pay twice...
