"The room is clean, and the property is well-maintained. The room pictures matched the actual room. The check-in & check-out process was smooth, and the host provided clear instructions. (Dear Expedia, please PAY ATTENTION to this.) "Location of the property is probably the biggest asset of this hotel, walking distance to a variety of restaurants and to Stanley Park with beautiful sceneries and great walking paths. We have to carry our bags up some steps, not much facilities here like a ramp. Bedroom was very spacious and clean, bathroom was Ok. We have no use for the kitchen but is good that was there. I don’t know about parking. Overall, this is nice place to stay for few nights. Happy we did."

"The AC is very load in a level that we couldn’t sleep. The bathroom sink was clogged up and maintenance had to unclog it and was still clogged up afterwards. I can’t believe how on earth is it a 4 stars."

"A small lovely hotel right downtown. Service is gracious, the best in town. Bacchus, the hotel restaurant, serves delicious food - one of the best hollandaise in Vancouver on their bennies. The hotel feels like a bit of a flash back in time: personal touches, genuinely warm welcomes, and room service rolled in on a cart with a white table cloth. No to go containers here."
