"Large room, close to coffee shops and restaurants and easy bus access to downtown"

"Our room had minimal bay views. Our room was facing the street, which was quiet loud. It also did not help that we were on the second floor. Staff was friendly, and helpful, When we checked in there was no light in the bathroom. Once we notified the staff, the problem was resolved; problem being, the breaker. Another guest blew a breaker in their room, which affected our bathroom. The room and the bathroom, was clean. Overall the stay was good, I would stay there again. "

"The room was beautifully designed and spacious. Everything looked brand new. The kitchen was spacious and beyond fully equipped. The manager was superb and the staff excellent and friendly. Whenever in Vancouver, I will ONLY stay here. Great location too."

"Staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly. The room had a beautiful view and was very comfortable. It is dated and could use a renovation but the location was excellent and offered many options for food, shopping, and enjoying the beauty of Vancouver. "

"If you get a chance to upgrade to a penthouse I would highly recommend. Beautiful large rooms! And the bathroom is massive! Loved the cosmo penthouse with ocean view! Also the front desk staff are wonderful. "

"The hosts are a friendly, experienced hostel business family. I enjoyed the breakfasts and the homey vibe. I'd like to leave two hopefully helpful pieces of advice for the visitors. If you're using a ride-hailing service, the car is not supposed to stop at the front of the house; it's better to use the spot on W 35th Ave or the back alley to get on / off. If your booked room is on the second floor and your luggage is heavy, be ready to lift it by yourself, as there is no elevator available."

"I did not expect this level of service to be honest, but felt welcomed and comfortable from the moment we stepped in the door. This was a quick weekend visit and therefore I didn’t have high needs or expectations but the Parker was incredible. Kiti at the front desk made check in a breeze, answered my questions without hesitation, and was there seemingly 24/7 always in the lobby with a smile on ready to help. The room was spotless, very modern, and had comfy beds. The bathroom seemed brand new...

"The Hotel is old but very clean. Parking is not that great; space is very narrow. The water pressure is so poor, made me had hard time taking shower. The staff are very friendly and courteous. "

"The hotel is old and needs updating replacing the carpets and new decor. There is significant artistic license of the hotels promo photos as it is very dark decor and the outside photos do not reflect the actual immediate area. Generally clean and the majority of staff were friendly polite and helpful. The immediate area around the hotel is shabby and downbeat and questionable groups of people hanging around the area. There is however a bus/tram stop outside and walking distance to nice...
