"The hosts are a friendly, experienced hostel business family. I enjoyed the breakfasts and the homey vibe. I'd like to leave two hopefully helpful pieces of advice for the visitors. If you're using a ride-hailing service, the car is not supposed to stop at the front of the house; it's better to use the spot on W 35th Ave or the back alley to get on / off. If your booked room is on the second floor and your luggage is heavy, be ready to lift it by yourself, as there is no elevator available."

"I had a terrific room with a waterfront view but I had to move because the construction noise and dust was so intense that it was not possible to stay in that room. After some prompting the management moved me up to another room with a good view and no construction issues. I really appreciate this hotel, its location, the value, and quality of the suites if you stay in renovated parts of the building. There should be a warning on their site and with the sites that promote them about construction...
