"I had a private bathroom with double bed. Very clean functional. Reminded of Tokyo! Did not use the kitchen but saw - super helpful if staying longer. Location is grade A - lots of places to eat, with different price range and within walking distance. Close by train stations. Safe area, perfect for solo travel. Doors had iron flap outside for extra security. Environment friendly and social enterprise hotel - will come back whenever back to Vancouver "

"After a long 16 hour day of travel it was so nice to be greeted by extra friendly staff and to get a good rest in a comfortable bed. The room was immaculate with all the amenities you could need."

"Lovely beach view and convenient location, but pretty dismal other than that. Peeling paint, linoleum, and carpet; shower sprayed more water from leaks than shower head. . Furniture and linens all so dated and felt dirty. Lots of water damaged carpet in halls covered with plastic. Staff polite at check in but different staff member at check out burping so excessively, repeatedly and loudly that we could hear him from the third floor. Spend the extra $80-$100 and stay anywhere else!"

"Ventilation poor. Room smelled musty. No insect screens on windows and patio door so opening them was not a permanent option. Heating and cooling using splits was not great."
