"Fabulous hotel, comfortable beds, very clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even though we've stayed in Maria Nova before we make a point of making a return trip simply because we are never disappointed. Its near (walking distance) shops, restaurants, bars cafe's and boat to the beach. Breakfast is good too."

Food came out in a timely manner, it was presented beautifully and best of all, it tasted great. The room was clean and a good size with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also clean and it was especially nice to sit out on the balcony at the end of the day. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for a peaceful and relaxing stay. "

Paulo did a fabulous job looking after us with respect to showing us the features of the resort, assisting with luggage and making sure our car was charged and available when we needed it. We loved our 5-day stay in this stylish hotel. Our room was modern and sophisticated with dark wood and beige ascents that helped create a relaxing environment. The bathroom with its modern amenities was spacious and had a wonderful rain shower. We also had a beautiful view of the mountains from the room. The room provided the perfect respite after a day of visiting museums and sightseeing. Another reason to stay here is their fabulous restaurant. João Simões and Inês did a wonderful job making sure our dining experiences were memorable. This is one hotel that is a must to stay at. You will not be disappointed"
