Lovely location. Fantastic staff. Great place to stay and close to main attractions. This is our 4th stay at Hotel San Cassiano Ca'Favretto.

Such a lovely place to stay, great staff, friendly and helpful. A challenge to find walking through Venice’s alleyway but ultimately worth it. A wonderful place to stay.

The staff were incredible , the beds comfortable and the view was fantastic. It’s just the rooms were a little old and dingy the one thing that really stood out was the slippers they give you to shower were brown they looked so sold and dirty so it just gave a bad vibe . But it wouldn’t stop me from staying there . The location is quite a hike from the train station you will need a water taxi direct if you have a lot of luggage .

This hotel the perfect combination of class, charm, with several idiosyncrasies that go with a 700 year old building refitted for modern era. It's not perfect, it can't be, and that's part of the charm. The staff was excellent and the location is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to the main attractions. We would stay again.

This hotel was rated as a 4-Star but it definitely was not. There were renovation projects going on and the restaurant was only open for breakfast. Renovation work is acceptable as long as I can't hear it in my room. Not being able to eat lunch and dinner there was definitely NOT acceptable. With all of the beautiful furnishings and being on the canal, this hotel could be a 5-Star hotel with renovations. The Murano glass art and lighting was fabulous. We only have breakfast, but very close to our hotel, we have plenty of very good restaurants in Venician style. Hope to see you soon again in the future!

Location was good, lots of good dining options in the immediate vicinity, walk to all the main tourist destinations, staff where great but best of all is the location on the grand canal, recommend the canal view room.

The property has 2rooms at ground level next to front desk and i was checked in one. While the room was nice and spacious, there should not be any rooms at ground level. Otherwise everything was great.

I loved this hotel on the Grand Canal.
This was an excellent hotel. It is right on the Grand Canal and in a great location that is easy to get to all the wonderful sites in Venice. The hotel staff was really great and very helpful. The room had a lot of old character and was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and an enjoyable stay.

Positive: Room was nice and big to accommodate all 5 of us including baby. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the local areas and amenities. Negative: Room was on the 3rd floor with no lift access. Since the stairs are steep, it’s really tiring to climb towards the end of the day. There are no supermarkets or convenience store located nearby. (Closest one is about 20 min by walking)

Great location, good breakfast, amazing views
The hotel is a perfect location, only a few minutes from the Rialto bridge. Our room was big enough for a family of 4, and a good sized bathroom too. Drinks from the bar on the terrace on the Grand Canal was great (and very reasonably priced too!) good breakfast. Fab!

Venice Stay
The hotel has a dock for water taxi which makes it very easy to get there. Location was good and lots of things near the hotel. The room was quite large and comfortable although the bathroom was quite small and very uncomfortable. This is a good choice of hotels.

This was the best place to stay in Venice. It is on the water. You can take a water taxi there. It takes ten minutes. We walked from train station. It took 20 minutes. We like to walk and see things. The hotel is quaint. Air conditioned. Breakfast is 6 euros and well worth it. It has a terrace you can sit in and eat. They have another terrace opened all day and you can have drinks on it or bring your own. The staff was very helpful for anything g we needed. Our favourite place to stay.

Great hotel on the grand canal. You can watch gondoliers from the back patio or from your room window. Amazing and friendly staff.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, lovely balcony for evening drinks, great breakfast, clean rooms with good size private bathroom. Our water taxi dropped us off right at the hotel dock and walking everywhere was easy from the location. Service was excellent and staff went above and beyond.

At this hotel we stayed in the Grand Double Room with a canal view and I will say it was totally worth it. The room was gorgeous, the view was even more so. The staff were friendly and helpful with storing our bags until check-in. Would recommend.

We found 5 to 6 small worms in the bathroom again and again after rinsing them out while we were taking shower each time. We did not receive our VIP benefits that were promised to us. The room is very dusty and moldy, very tough for our son who has allergy. He has been suffering during our stay. We also found blood stains in bad sheet and pillow sheet.

Hotel and staff were excellent. The only thing I would say it required was a little paint and plaster work on the front of the hotel next to the canal.

Old world style! No elevators just flights of stairs so if mobility is an issue this might not be an option. Some rooms are large some rooms with small staff overall is wonderful and the water taxi private one pulls right up at the dock
