Luxury 4 berth caravan was roomy, well furnished and well equipped for 4 people. Good seating deck provided. Very clean bedrooms and lots of storage. Good shower pressure and hot water. Bathrooms clean and presentable. Location is excellent for visits out to all parts of island. Indoor Pool was clean and warm. Staff helpful, and site very tidy and well kept.

It was good and the caravan was very clean although we didnt have an outside seating area. The outdoor pool was closed most of the time and yet it was during the heatwave. There was also no evening entertainment.

A really lovely little resort surrounding a lake easily accessible to / from the Isle of Wight’s main sights and attractions. We stayed in a Lakehouse which I highly recommend.

Had trouble registering as we were asked for booking reference even though we had a print out of our booking. I had to suggest looking at my driving licence to get registered. Hotels.com did not give us a booking reference. A bit stressful as we thought we had to go elsewhere for our stay.

Small arcade, lake, clubhouse, indoor and outdoor pools, and playground on site. Check on their website for details about when certain facilities open - we’ve been a number of times and there’s a much wider variety in the Summer. But still enjoyable throughout the year.

Unfortunately not the quiet family park we hoped for. Superior caravan tired but very clean ( apart from the ovens ) Restaurant a bit disorganised possibly due to summer staff new to the job? Lovely goody box for the dog and kitchen and bed linen spotless. Heating in bathrooms and living area didn't turn off. Privately owned caravan next-door had 3 different groups over 3 days 2 of which liked to party. Left after 4 days as exhausted and fed up.

We booked the luxury caravan with a hot tub, although unfortunately we wouldn’t describe it as “luxury”. There were a few things that we felt needed attention. The radiators in the bathrooms were rusty and really need replacing, the grouting was mouldy, and one of the shower screens had mould around the bottom. The white railing around the patio was also loose and needs securing. The hot tub had supposedly been cleaned before our arrival, but there were what looked like small stones in it, which was disappointing. One side of the bed had USB ports that didn’t work, and unfortunately the dishwasher didn’t seem to clean the dishes properly. On the positive side, the kitchen was very well equipped. Despite these issues, we did enjoy our stay. This was our third visit to Lakeside, although last time we stayed in one of the Lakeside cottages, which we preferred. The staff are always lovely, friendly and welcoming, and the setting is beautiful and makes for a lovely relaxing break. Like everywhere at the moment, though, we do feel that the cost of staying in the UK is getting quite expensive. We would definitely book to visit Lakeside again, but next time we will choose one of the cottages rather than a caravan.

Not as described in the picture. Noise from Sports Car Fest holidaying on our park and smell of cannabis near our caravan. Have stated in better here for less money. Also, no entertainment until Sumner months.

Our caravan wasn't ready on check in time, we had to wait. The cleanliness of the caravan was ok, however the decking area clearly hadn't been cleaned or had a broom over it in a long time, meaning we couldn't really use this area as it was very dirty.

I realise that ‘bog standard’ will never be a descriptor for a caravan, but superior is way too kind. Thankfully only 2 of us were staying in a 6 berth, because bedroom 3 is ludicrous. It seemed clean until I found someone else’s razor in the shower. The caravan’s are piled in very close to each other, meaning not only can you not park next to it, you can’t park anywhere near it and ours had a complete staircase to navigate due to the terracing. The outdoor pool has a licensed capacity of 20 people, whether swimming or not, so good luck in high season. I won’t trouble this park again.

Definitely not Luxury, as described, a very tired caravan, sticky tape stuck to the front door, tv channels not working properly, light in en suite not working, windows wouldn't close properly, as there was rain whilst we were there, our clothes got wet. No instructions for the hot tub, so jets only working one side, very disappointed

Value for money

Value for money for our type of stay. Spacious it being what it is, you can not get this in a B&B or hotel for that price. Very central on the island which was great for us.
