"Quiet and wonderful staff."

"It’s an old, beautiful hotel, very conveniently located. Odd shaped buildings, so odd shaped room - but charming. There is a lot to like. Underground parking next door, and walkable neighborhood. Had a great time. Did get woke up by screaming homeless person early morning, but has nothing to do with the hotel. Also did not observe many homeless while walking around - it’s a safe neighborhood. Will stay again"

"The hotel is truly beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. Personally, I find it very noisy. In the rooms, you can constantly hear the people next door and above you. The noise from outside was also really loud. At this price point, I would have expected something different."

"Room was clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and allow you to store luggage early on day of arrival or late on day off departure. Bus stop is close by about 200m up the street, this will give you access to downtown LA (about 45 minutes) or to the beach (about 15-20 minutes). The main negative point is that breakfast is limited and processed, nothing fresh available. Options included toast, packed pancakes or cereal/porridge as well as juice/tea/coffee. Sufficient yet uninspiring,...

"Water pressure in shower and sink was suboptimal for washing up.However, the room was clean and the personnel were extremely helpful and polite"

"I stayed for a full week and really enjoyed it. Great location. Beautiful, clean, safe neighborhood. Only knock was one of the other guests woke me up one night close to midnight as they went to the wrong room and tried to get in with the wrong code. Never jumped out of bed so fast! But it was an honest mistake."

"Everything was great except the Bistro, had a made to order breakfast it cost $35 and I did not get what I ordered...it us better to get the breakfast buffet...and i hate that your receipt is not itemized other than that the staff really go above and beyond! I will be returning for the Summer Games and will definitely stay at the same location. Hope I will see some familiar faces☺️"

"Poor,skimpy breakfast ."

"The room is big enough , clean , bed is comfortable . Parking is easy , close. However , the air vent cover in bathroom is very old , bent , very rusty and has a spiderweb. Vanity sink drains slowly. It takes a long time , close to 4 minutes, for the shower water to get warm enough to get under. I feel guilty wasting water especially in CA ."

"If you’re by yourself and noise doesn’t bother you and you need to be in Westwood this is for you. Otherwise it not worth the money you’ll “save”. Very little space in the bathroom for toiletries, no functional windows, no place to hang towels, tiny amount of soap and shampoo. There were 2 of us and impossible to unpack even essentials. I’m a light sleeper. Could hear everything inside next rooms. And “gym” is literally a storage room. We left early and went to Ramada inn feeling like luxury...
