"This is my second time staying and it never disappoints. Very close to the center of the historic downtown area. The property is very well maintained. Staff is always very welcoming. They were very helpful in explaining the laundry room machines and how they operate. Staff always greeted me when I entered the lobby. The room is very clean and has plenty of room. The kitchen has full stoneware and utensils. All of the appliances worked. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor area...

"We were mixed about our stay. While the resort seemed nice and styled nicely, there was a level of care and attention that was missing. The love definitely goes toward the course. Overall the resort was quiet, clean and felt safe enough."

"The hotel is on a beautiful piece of property and very reasonably priced. It's a older hotel but if you are just looking for a nice place to sleep it is nice. Not a lot of amenities if you're looking for a place to stay during the day. It is very close to Mt. Dora."

"The owner, Margie, gave us a complete history of the inn upon our arrival. The inn is filled top to bottom with antiques, artwork and statuary. Loaded with artwork by the Florida Highwaymen and many works of art featuring Margie’s beloved Irish Wolfhounds, three of which live on site, but were kept in a different part of the inn. Check in/out was easy. Location is nearby the main downtown shopping area."
