"Room was very dusty"

"We liked that this accommodation is located 100 meters from all the action on the water front but tucked away in really beautiful, quiet grounds. The apartments are large and recently renovated. The pool is about 25 meters long, so great for laps and relaxing. All up, a really nice place to stay."

"Positioned beautifully across from the beach and next door to Rattle and Hum. The one bedroom suite had no sink in the kitchenette - dishes had to be taken into the bathroom to be washed. The sink is situated beside the toilet - not terribly hygenic. Kettle only just fit under the tap. Apartments are very dated, our top sheet was torn, paintwork scratched, our beach view was a slither - main view was of the old, worn colourbond roof and leaf filled gutters. A five night stay included only two bathroom towels - more entailed a 65 dollar fee! cheaper to buy some."

"The space was larger than expected, lovely and lush gardens. Clean and modern, very happy with our stay. Free parking and convenient location."

"We were not advised there were painters on site. Two mornings we had a note left on our door asking us to leave the door open for the painters at 7am. Room needs maintenance; broken floor tile in kitchen, kitchen doors won’t close, patio door hard to open and close, armrests on sofa both loose."

"I really enjoyed this place. All amenities were great. Check in was my only issue. Check in was listed at 1400. I arrived shortly after this & I was told the unit wasn't ready. This was shortly rectified. There's also renovations happening at the moment so quite a bit of noise during the day. Otherwise a comfortable relaxing stay"

"On the positive side there were lovely beach views, excellent staff, and it was a great location close to everything in Palm Cove. There were nice touches like complimentary chocolates in the fridge on arrival. The things that weren’t so good included: the hot water in the shower never got past warm, the aircon in the main bedroom didn’t blow cold air when set on cool mode, the towels were small and thin and it was impossible to block out the light by closing the Venetian blinds. Additionally, the room was directly opposite the chapel so privacy was limited. Overall it was good but expensive "
