"This place is like a mirage: absolutely beautiful hotel in a stunning location! I kept thinking it was like a dream!!! Staff very attentive. Fun ride in electric buggy to our room. Quiet, pretty pool. Stunning room: silky robes, bags & hats to borrow. Loved the decor: luxurious! Breakfast buffet had everything, and it was never busy! Bikes were cheap to rent. Great location: you could watch the boats go by. "

"Lovely resort for family stay. We stayed for 4 nights prior to a 2 week tour of Vietnam that started in Hanoi. Great resort - lovely indoor and outdoor pools, duplex room ideal for family of 4, large leafy site with electric buggies to ferry you between room and reception/restaurants. We ate breakfast at at Sen restaurant, lunch at the outdoor poolside bar, and dinner at Organics restaurant all on site every day. "We enjoyed a three night stay at Mai Chau lodge. As the lodge was quiet being mid-week, we were given an upgrade which was a nice surprise. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and lake. The local food offered in the restaurant was lovely. As options in the town were a bit limited we ate there every night.
