"Very cute suite with what we thought was a great location in Florence. Away from the hustle and bustle but very walkable to main sites and lots in the close vicinity as well. Claudia was a great host and very responsive. Beds were comfy’ linens and towels were good. We couldn’t use the AC as it was too early in the season. But the apartment cooled off very well at night. A lovely stay!"

"We had a wonderful experience at the Oltrarno Splendid. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, and there was always fruit and goodies to munch on in the afternoon/evening. The entry to the building was very cool - felt like another era, and the decoration of the hotel is very interesting. Our rooms was very nice and spacious and we had a free bottle of Chianti, which was awesome."

The area directly outside the hotel gate was very sketchy especially if you are traveling solo. Once in the very narrow entrance of the property, you feel safe. "

"Everything was absolutely stunning and great about the hotel. Absolutely beautiful decor and the cleanliness was the best I’ve ever seen. And it was cute that they served a little continental breakfast although they are equipped for so much more when it comes to food, full-size little restaurant, which has the potential for so much more would’ve loved an omelette or something a little bit more with extra protein but all in all it was absolutely spectacular. "Nós amamos o hotel. Chegamos e fomos recebidos pela Ilaria. O atendimento foi fantástico. Além de nos receber muito bem ela nos deu ótimas dicas. Também amamos a Dona Katia que nos serviu no café da manhã. Ficamos no apto Oscar que super nos atendeu. Além disto a locação foi perfeita pois fizemos tudo a pé. "

"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. Car park which we managed to get a space, parks 10 cars. Neighbourhood very good and it’s a walk down the hill to the bus stop which you...
