"Rooms could have done with some form of soundproofing as we could hear adjacent rooms and from above, however, we were so tired it did not affect us greatly. Hot water went off one morning of the three we stayed so we were unable to shower, we had to boil the kettle and pour into the sink, mix with the cold water and have a strip wash to freshen up. We had to have the windows open too as the air-conditioning was only seasonal and they would not turn them on nor were we able to turn the radiators...

"This is an exceptional place, full of character. Thoughtfully appointed, immaculately clean and very quiet and comfortable. Carlo, the proprietor, was wonderful---friendly, very helpful and lots of fun to talk to . He even lugged our bags up to the apartment, which is on the top floor with a terrace and great view. If you want to talk to a "real" Italian, this is the place for you! One word of warning: the Palazzo dates from the 15th century and has no lift , so the stairs are not for the...

"Breakfast is really good. There are various kinds of local food such as ham, cheese, salami, pastries, jam and so on. The car parking in front of the hotel is very useful and safe. The room is clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful time here. Thank you so much!"

"Savhotel Amelia Bologna was an excellent experience. We reserved a junior suite, and it certainly was the right choice. Our room was very spacious with plenty of places to put our luggage. The restroom was also very spacious and clean. The hotel is well laid out and the amenities are top notch. We took advantage of the evening bar, as well as the gym. Both were very nice.
