"Room was beautiful. Dining was awful. Bland food and terrible service. Front desk was not knowledgeable about things to do in the area. Went on the onsite hike and trail was not well marked. Off duty employees said they hadn’t gotten around to the t yet. Very underwhelmed by the resort"

"The ownership seemed in transition with policy like free breakfasts being changed. The buffet breakfast was not offered. Room was clean but the auto on lighting in the sink area would come on with any movement. Since there is not a door, we often would be awakened . "The Peppertree Inn is an older property, however, it is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and Casey (met at check-in), was very helpful. There is an elevator so getting up to the higher floors was easy (there are 7 total). Checking out was convenient with a locked box on the outside of the office. "The stay was very good. The lodge was well done. It's a renovated 70s building. We had some miscommunication from Expedia to the lodge though. I would recommend booking through them directly. The lodge honored the room but there at only one left so I could've been very unlucky if they weren't so gracious. The staff was very helpful. The pool is pretty cool even though it's heated. "The room looked clean, but unfortunately it did not smell fresh. There was a noticeable odor, like dust and something stored away for a long time, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. With better ventilation or a deeper cleaning, the experience could have been much better."

"Excellent location, a beautiful setting with great amenities and access to everything Incline Village and Lake Tahoe has to offer. It was truly remarkable how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff members were. We even found the exceptionally friendly service in many of the other venues that we visited nearby.
