"Staff was helpful"

"We ended up going on a diff weekend due to storm blocking roads. Nice they allowed us to change despite policy. However few problems with our stay 1. Housekeeping. We asked for extra comforter / duvet as we had 4 guests in that each preferred own blanket. Multiple times had to re-ask as housekeeping kept taking them during cleaning and turndown. On top of this there were some shelves covered in thick layer of dust. Superficial job. 2. Food was OK. Manzanita was decent but lobby and taco place...

"I recently stayed at Gravity Haus and it was phenomenal. I had a room on the second floor with a full balcony that had a beautiful morning view of the sunrise. It was so quiet at night that I probably got the best sleep I’ve had in a very long time. The room was very clean and the shower had great water pressure. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive to my needs. The surrounding area was just as beautiful and a short drive/walk from downtown Truckee which had lots of local flavors...

The staff was super friendly and helpful grocery store literally four minute walk away lovely places to eat. Must try the Italian across the street hot tub fire pit private beach. "The private pier at Franciscan was so relaxing. I took the portable umbrella in my cabin closet and set it up at the end of the pier and had a great afternoon picnic watching the paddleboarders and kayakers go by. Restaurants and other amenities so close by."

"Das Zimmer hatte den Charme eines kleinen Charlets. Die Dusche war die Beste, die wir auf unserer Rundreise mit vielen Unterkünften, geniessen durften. Das Zimmer ist freundlich eingerichtet mit einem grossen Wandbehang in Form einer Landkarte von Lake Tahoe. Es gab genügend Parkplätze."

Unfortunately, the rooms left a lot to be desired, especially at the price charged. The very, very squeaky bed, the windows with a ton of street noise, the shower/tub from the 1800s, which I thought was a period piece harking back to the pub idea, and essentially no friills everything.
