"Room was beautiful. Dining was awful. Bland food and terrible service. Front desk was not knowledgeable about things to do in the area. Went on the onsite hike and trail was not well marked. Off duty employees said they hadn’t gotten around to the t yet. Very underwhelmed by the resort"

"The ownership seemed in transition with policy like free breakfasts being changed. The buffet breakfast was not offered. Room was clean but the auto on lighting in the sink area would come on with any movement. Since there is not a door, we often would be awakened . "The Peppertree Inn is an older property, however, it is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and Casey (met at check-in), was very helpful. "Excellent location, a beautiful setting with great amenities and access to everything Incline Village and Lake Tahoe has to offer. It was truly remarkable how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff members were. We even found the exceptionally friendly service in many of the other venues that we visited nearby.
