"Oh man, what a gem. We loved our trip and in the middle of the night my son woke up and said “dad, this is my favorite hotel”. Was a great stay for a quick family trip. We enjoyed the swimming pool and arcade. Hey we even won an item out of a claw machine and we don’t typically play them hahaha. During our stay we unfortunately didn’t get to eat at Smokehouse beside the hotel because the surrounding area had lost power but the restaurant shares parking lot with the hotel. "The place is well kept and the staff was really friendly. The price compared to other hotels you could not beat it. They have a great place but need to update things like tv bathroom and doors. It like visiting you grandparents the place is well kept but it’s like traveling back in time. If I need to stay again in Lancaster again I would stay at Bird in hand"

"There were cigarette burns on my sheets and pillow cases. The towels were dirty and the whole room felt dirty. Didn’t even take out my tooth brush cause how gross it felt. I’ve had nicer stays at a super 8 before and this one is more expensive!"

Overall, it’s a decent budget stay if you’re just looking for a clean place to sleep, but amenities are minimal."

"There were bugs in the bathroom. I killed and flushed them most of the night. I wasn't able to sleep because of this. The ceiling and wall in the bathroom had been spackled and not finished. The furniture set up was not conducive to more than one occupant. The toilet flushed fine and the air conditioning worked well. My husband and I checked out early and cancelled our additional night's stay due to the insects. I would not recommend the Scottish Inn Ronks, PA. "

"I did not stay there. Their add was bait and switch. It showed a large farm house that I believed had been transformed into a motel. Far from it . So deceptive."
