"Many thanks to Frederico and staff for a wonderful stay at Casa Villa Gardenia! Everyone was so helpful with directions and recommendations. There is a grocery store nearby with reasonable prices and lovely pizzeria where we went for a lovely dinner. The breakfast served was very substantial. Clean rooms with modern bathroom. Great area, close to train to Venice. Would stay there again!"

"Nice quaint hotel in a really interesting part of Venice and away from the crowds. We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was easily accessible and well connected via the 'Accedemia' water bus stop nearby. Also easy walking to San Marco and Rialto areas etc. Lots of dining options around. This hotel has an elevator which was a welcome sight. Rooms were clean comfortable and spacious. Staff are very helpful. We checked out early in the morning and they had takeaway breakfast prepared for us. I would stay...

"From our arrival at the hotel our stay was perfect! We were greeted with a smile and a glass of Prosecco to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The room was airy and spotlessly clean, with two tall windows onto the street. The hotel is near to restaurants and shops, but really quiet at night. It’s also within easy walk of all the sights, museums and churches. I would recommend a stay, and would definitely return to Venice and this hotel."

"Hébergement "bungalow" sans coin cuisine en effet pas de cuisine mentionné dans l'annonce mais pas si claire que ça, un petit frigo disponible qui nous a sauvé notre séjour tout de même. Il faudrait peut être mettre une bouilloire à disposition tout de même avec 2 verres ou tasses. Sinon logement propre rien à redire et service de navette extra !"

"Excellent stay. Located in a nice quiet yet interesting part of Venice. Easy accesibility by water bus, Tragetto gondola to get across the canal or 15 min easy walk to San Marco/ Rialto etc. and lots of dining in the vicinity minus the crowds. "This is not a hotel it's a guest host without a reception desk and a three flight walkup, which can be very challenging with luggage. The building is run down and a bit dirty, it's in need of plaster repair and paint. However, the worst part is since there is not a front desk, if you need to contact someone right away you will be out of luck! You can email them but you won't get an immediate response and if you call the number provided, nobody answers the phone. Our GPS was not guiding us...

They both looked the same as far as bedding etc. When we arrived our son and daughter in law got a room as advertised and my husband and I were out on another building that was nothing like the photos and old. We were very disappointed I would be very clear you do not want out on the old building that you have to have there old keys to get into your room "
