"I picked this hotel because of the price. It was cheaper than the ones I usually stay at in Wytheville. My main complaint is that the room was very damp and smelled of bleach. When I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, the floor felt damp to the touch. The sink stopper wouldn't stay down, so it was difficult to wash out an item in the sink. Also in the bathroom, there were gouges on the door which looked like a dog had been locked in there and tried to get out. The...

"Room was clean and staff is friendly. The good stops there unfortunately. The wifi and cable constantly went out the whole time I was there. I had Do Not Disturb on my door but had people knocking on my door early every morning waking me up. The fridge in my room wasnt working because they didnt have a electrical plug in nearby. And had a hard time getting water right temp in the shower because the handle was stripped, and the tub was in horrible shape itself. Air in the hallways was broke so...

"Everybody was super nice during check in and check out. The room was clean. I did notice the hallway smelled like smoke which had been mentioned in other reviews, but the rooms did not, which to me was more important. Had a sliding glass door in our room which was nice, easy access to our car. Overall a nice stay, on a budget."

"Old building that has recently been renovated. New flooring and furniture in rooms. Rooms and property very clean. Pool was closed. No breakfast was provided but a cracker barrel was right around the corner. Very well lite at night in the parking lot. TV reception was marginal at best with poor picture quality."

"Because of the graduation at VT their prices were inflated (all hotels & motels were) but it was the cheapest I could find. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The place is older and could use some renovating. Overall a good place to stay, nice friendly staff."
