"They try to update the hotel but you still feel its old. Also no free parking you will have to pay 15$ extra per night. We had to park across the street. Be aware of small details in your reservation."

"Waited 1 hr. for a shuttle ride. 9:15 to 10:15 PM, 6-7-2026. We initially waited 30 minutes for the 1st shuttle, that did not pull up to the designated waiting area (2G), instead he stopped 150 feet short of the waiting area, and only the people that weren’t in the waiting area, or happened to notice the shuttle, were able to board. When the people that were actually in the waiting area realized that the shuttle was down the street from us, it was already full at that point, and it departed without stopping at the waiting area. Hotel said that they would send out a backup shuttle. They did not. The next shuttle came 30 minutes later, and the driver wanted me to load my own luggage behind the van. When we arrived at the hotel, I spoke to the front desk guy and he was of no assistance. He claimed the driver told them he pulled up to the designated area, so he decided to support their driver, who flat out lied, if he indeed told them that. Additionally, no explanation was given as to why the backup van did not come. The young lady at the front desk butted in confrontational and said, that the van could have had other vans in front of him and couldn’t get to the waiting area. There weren’t any vans in the waiting area, and even if it had been, all he had to do was wait until any other van pulled away. She also had the audacity to say, the shuttle is a courtesy, never mind the fact that I paid for a hotel room stay and six nights parking specifically for the shuttle."

"basic accommodations. Complete jerk at check in who claimed "I can't do anything for you" to get my mom (who can't walk) a room on the ground floor (there's no elevator), even though I booked a handicapped-accessible room at booking. Raised his voice at me in response to my frustration. When I mentioned reporting him up the ADA, he magically found 2 rooms on the ground floor. Just uneccesary jerkiness"

"This Hyatt is good for travelers. It is easy to get to and restaurants and shopping or close by. They have an airport shuttle that runs around the clock. You can leave your vehicle on site for a daily rate. Bed was comfortable, room had plenty of space, there is a restaurant and bar on site. We did have a minor issue with the television remote not working the tv, but with a quick online search we were able to re-pair the remote to it and enjoy a little entertainment."

"If you are coming from out of town to visit DC, this is the place. For one, the metro that takes you directly non stop to downtown is directly next door. Two, the place is brand new and super clean! Third - My experience = The staff was incredible. Youssef, the valet came running after us asking if we had dropped a 50 dollar bill. We had not, but the integrity there was commendable. Also, it was our anniversary and we arrived to our room with a glowing sign, balloons, a box of chocolate, and a very nice bottle of champagne. All complimentary. I have traveled a lot, and no where did I feel more welcome!."

"More staff? In the early evening, I needed towels for the pool because there was none in the pool and there was only one desk person and he was waiting on someone and then I went to ask for towels and he told me I needed to wait and then he disappeared into the back and came back and said he could do it in about five minutes so I came back and he was still working with someone then he told me he’d get me some and he took his cell phone and walked down the hall and was gone for five minutes. There was several people at the front counter, ringing the bell before he even came walking back up the hall on his phone, but he was very polite to me."
