"When arrived at the lodge the parking lots was dirty, went to the registration room and there was a sign saying "closed please call this number", had to call 4 times before someone answered. Was shown a room and the person from the registration office looked in the bathroom and said sorry, not this room. i will show you another one. When the door to the room was opened the room smelled of smoke and mold (there was a sign showing no smoking in the rooms). The room was nothing like the pictures shown on the web site. I would not recommend this place to anyone. When we told people we meet in Renfrew about the mess of this place, they had told us the place was supposed to be closed few years ago. Definitely should be taken off the list of hotels to recommend."

"I have food sensitivities and generally stay away from the breakfast. The room and beds were tidy but I would not say clean. There were significant cobwebs hanging in the bathroom, a stir stick stuck along the baseboards in beside the 1st bed. and there was other bits of cardboard under the edge of the second bed. there was sticky stuff on the desk and the front of the microwave needed a wash."

"There was nothing that I didn't like. The staff was very kind and the room was very nice. It was just outside of the highway which I liked very quick way to get back on the highway. Lots of fast food places close by. A no frills store was there too. Plus a gas station for a fill up before heading back on the road. Everything I could need. I will be back."
