"Loved everything about it"

"So relaxing, peaceful, beautiful beyond words. True welcoming hawaian hospitality. A place everyone should experience. We saw double rainbows with mountain backrounds, one of the worlds largest sand bars, snorkled with turtles from the resort boat ride and kayaked to china mans hat. Ate authentic homemade banana bread in the am while keeping up with our exercise routines in the property gym. Lounging on the floating decks around the hot tub and pool were so relaxing. Its was just fabulous. "

"The location from the airport is good. We stayed two different nights and each night. The air conditioning did not work. Every time we went to have breakfast at least 45 minutes before closing time, they ran out of food."

"Right in the heart of Waikiki Beach, yet, if you have a rental car, relatively easy to get out as the main drag of Waikiki Beach ends around this resort."

"The hotel first floor it’s super dirty, we didn’t use the pool, restaurant or gym. They charge for parking, there is not parking close by for stays, they also charge extra for using the amenities. $75 dls, extra per day! Horrible experience "

"Do not stay here. 0 amenities, extra charge for everything, dirty and dilapidated. 2 star hotel experience for 4 or 5 star price. Many better options on the block like Sheraton or Moana surfrider. "

"This property feels dated and in need of a full refresh. The room had a noticeable musty odor, and overall cleanliness did not meet expectations. The air conditioning unit was very loud and struggled to cool the space effectively. After showering, I used the bath mat to wipe the floor and it picked up a significant amount of dirt, which was concerning. Overall, the condition of the room did not reflect a comfortable or well-maintained stay."

"I have tried the property twice to see what people are giving it good reviews for. The rooms are extremely old, the furnishings are poor and there are no amenities. You have to pay for the Gym if you want to use it, the pool is sub par, it is not worth it. I would pay a little more and stay at the AC or another hotel in the future."

"Beautifully, elegant hotel with clean, good sized rooms (tower wing), lovely views with plenty of sunshine, refrigerator small closet, drawers, ample lighting and good AC (almost too cold at times!). Wish they provided a microwave but that's minor. Love the historic feel of the hotel, they really did an excellent job of maintaining it, especially since this was the very first hotel in Waikiki! "This hotel was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The facilities included a laundry room for guests. The area is safe and the local bus stops right outside the hotel. The hotel does not have a bar or restaurant but there many options near by."

"The hotel is beautiful and pristine from its lobby, pool, restaurants and including our guest room with a spectacular ocean view. It is perfectly located on the beach and within walking distance of everything in Waikiki. All the staff are extremely professional and friendly. We can’t wait to stay here with our children again!"
