"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hanalei colony resort.
The staff was amazing! I made a mistake booking something, and they worked frantically to make sure that we made it. The shuttle service is an amazing perk that you should definitely take advantage of.
I was not expecting the room to not have an air conditioner, but, leaving the Windows/screen door open, made the room completely comfortable.
The property landscaping is gorgeous.
It’s a great location to get to so many attractions/beaches/shopping/food/etc.
If we ever go back to Kauai, we will definitely be booking here again!"
"The hotel location was great and the beach was beautiful. It's an old hotel that has been remodel a bit but it shows. There are two swimming pools but they resemble more motel swimming pools than Hilton swimming pools.
There is a breakfast restaurant open from 6:00 to 10:00 am with a very limited breakfast menu. Again, not what you would expect from a Hilton property. The other place to eat is a beach shack. Luckily there are a few restaurants and coffee shops walking distance from the hotel.
I am glad we stayed there because it was in a convenient location and the beach was great. Once we adjusted our expectations, we enjoyed our stay."
"Beautiful grounds and charming vintage cottages. Quiet peaceful setting. Location is not convenient to most of our favorite activities although the west side of the island is like stepping back in time to how we can imagine the island was many years ago.
Bed was not comfortable. Lighting inside was poor but the overhangs on the windows are obviously intended to keep out the hot sun.
Housekeeping and landscapers do a great job.
On site restaurant food was disappointing.
Thank you for a relaxing stay."
"We had a great stay in the deluxe ocean view room. Spectacular views, great beach to swim at. The restaurants were really good too, we just were bummed we couldn’t get room service the night we arrived. Other than that, amazing food at lava and rum fire. Coffee shop onsite was great too. Already planning or next trip"
"Nice spacious rooms with washer and dryer. Very limited free coffee, shampoo, conditioner. No restaurants in the hotel. Not walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants."
