"The staff was EXCELLENT! Kind and so helpful with recommendations. We really just needed somewhere to sleep at night, and our room was good for that. I wouldn’t say our room was dirty, but it wasn’t immaculately clean. Our only complaint was our bed, the mattress really needs to be replaced. Overall I would give our stay an 8/10!"
"This is an older hotel, but with a good price for Kauai. For two people, I would recommend getting a “deluxe” studio which includes a kitchenette and air conditioner. Not all rooms have air conditioning. It was great to have complimentary coffee every morning and lemon water in the afternoon in the lobby. The location in Lihue is not the best, but if you have a car, it is a great place from which to explore the island. There is a great Chinese restaurant a couple of blocks away..lots of good food at a very reasonable price. The highlight of our two nights there was the person at the front desk…Rini! She is a pleasure to talk to and will share information about local restaurants and any other info you may need. Her enthusiasm is contagious.
There is a great beach about a mile away. The hotel is conveniently close to the airport.
Many stores within easy driving distance."
"Very pricey but worth it. The property is truly magical. Everyone is cheery and extremely helpful with any questions you have about the property or the island in general. Kukui'ula does not disappoint!"
"Property was well maintained. Being that its right next to the ocean there's some rust here and there. Rooms are nice. Washer & dryer. Kitchen and we had 2 br 2 ba. Very nice walk in pool with a little bar and grill next to the pool. Great food and good drinks. There's a small gym with a sauna . Overall great place to stay. Next to ocean ,but No beach. I would recommend"
"The room was very clean and a great location! We even got an ocean view! The only downside is the pool being across the street, but it’s an amazing pool and you can order food and drinks there! The location of the property is amazing! Lots of food options across the street!"
