"We had three people in the room. When we arrived the sofa bed was not made. When asked about it they said we would have to make the bed ourselves. I asked twice for another blanket. After one-half hour I had to hunt down a room service person and went with her to get a blanket"

"Beautiful resort. Parking can be difficult, recommend a small car with good brakes (steep hill). Pool is lovely. Morning yoga was relaxing. "

"We enjoyed the approximity to the ocean and the beautiful view. The property was getting much needed repairs as we were leaving, and the room some improvement but was clean and well stocked with supplies and amenities. The only issue was the oven was out, but our rep Katie ordered us a pizza which we appreciated very much. Thanks for the stay"

"The property is well located, and the staff is generally willing to help as much as they can. About a week before my stay, I received a message from the hotel informing me that they would be working on the balconies. Unfortunately, the noise made it difficult to rest, and with workers both outside and inside the balconies, there was no privacy. I had to keep the curtains closed the entire time, so I couldn’t even enjoy the view."

"We stayed on the West side, 8th floor and it was amazing. The room was large, staffwere friendly, and pool hours were great. Coffee place in concourse was awesome. Valet parking was easy. Would stay again."

Property was very very basic...not the place where you can get an extra pillow...People were shouting at 3 o'clock in the morning...Temporary permanent residency place for some less fortunate people...Still we were grateful for the stay and it met the basic requirements."

"Our stay at the Ala Moana was amazing! The food was also amazing, but would have loved a little more options. Otherwise, the food options were tasty and limitless. The staff in the cafe were also wonderful, but by far, Heavenly was the most amazing!!! She goes above ans beyond, always with a smile. She's very heavenly, and very unforgetable! As far as the cleaniness of this hotel, we give a 5 star! Our only disappointment is that the hotel advertised and charged for ocean view, but in fact, it...
