"We stayed at The Heartland Inn in Park Rapids and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. They were wonderful with our dogs, which meant a lot to us and made traveling with pets easy. The breakfast was far better than expected—well stocked with lots of options, great coffee, and excellent donuts. The pool area was also a highlight—really impressive and very well maintained. Overall, this was a relaxing, high-value stay with great amenities and hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend The Heartland Inn to anyone visiting Park Rapids."

"Breakfast could use work. But its ok. Different mini boxes of cereal and something different than biscuits and gravy and waffles. Other than that everything is alway nice and friendly and polite and respectful and rooms are clean. "

"The property itself was clean and perfectly acceptable. The walls were thin, and the neighbors, loud. The TV volume could not be adjusted, and so was too quiet to hear. Oddly, though, I could hear the neighbor's TV just fine! An ok spot for an overnight, located near a beautiful park and close to restaurants, shops, and convenience stores."

"Other than our toilet leaking when flushed and our bed was too hard. Staff was pleasant. "

"This property is having a complete renovation. I would not have stayed if i had any idea. Nothing on website indicated anything. We stayed 4 nights and I guess you are totally on your own to find clean towels, toilet paper etc. Hotel was permeated with paint and adhesive smells. Open Rooms under these circumstances should not cost $158 per night. "

"Gary was a fabulous host! Breakfast was delicious and he served it an hour before scheduled because we had to leave when the time was originally scheduled. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the short while we were there. "
