"Parking was good, right outside our room. Staff were very friendly and nice. There was a good choice for breakfast of cooked and cereal. The room was clean, did notice a couple of spiders, one small one in the bath which was easily washed down the bath and one above the wardrobe storage, which didn't cause any problems. Attention to detail in seen throughout the hotel from arrival in the car park, through a perfectly manicured courtyard and pleasant reception area. My room looked out onto fields . "Overall, our stay was okay, but there were a few disappointing aspects that took the shine off what should have been a straightforward overnight stay. Before booking, we asked about checking in early because we were attending a wedding and our coach was leaving at 11am. "AVOID THE HOTEL VERSION OF A SUPERMARKET SELF SERVICE TILL. No staff AT ALL on site. You’re sent a code to get in. The room was horrid. Broken bed, rips in curtain. "Thoroughly enjoyed my stay of just over 2 weeks. All the staff were so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Had a lovely top floor single room an nice skylight window. The Continental breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The Grab and Go breakfast was a good option too. The Italian Restaurant was great and open for lunch and dinner. "Lovely stay, beautiful grounds and house. Staff were amazing - so helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Afternoon drinks in the garden were lovely! Room was very comfy and clean. Would recommend."

"We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks."

"Sweet small hotel. Typical Brit pub on the main floor. Owner operated, wonderful people. I’d stay there again anytime!"

"This venue has great potential and the new owner and team obviously have an exciting vision for the future. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast (included) was very tasty. Attention to detail in the room could have been better. Carpet needed hoovering (and replacing) the bed hadn’t been made and although this was remedied, it looked thrown together. The loo seat was a bit ‘mobile’ and there was no hot water in the shower (apparently the boiler had tripped out)....

"The room very basic and in need of a refurbishment the carpet was stained with burn marks, the bed very uncomfortable and not the cleanest, the bathroom had stains and was in need of a deep clean, furniture was in serious need of a coat of paint, along with the whole part of the hotel. Only positive comment the place was cheap but won't be staying again"

"I found the parking ideal right outside property and very safe. The property was spotless couldnt fault a thing. The breakfast was the best we will stop there again when we are in the area."

"5 stars isn’t enough for Eastdale B&B. The property is immaculate. Liz is an exemplary host. The breakfast was excellent and was all quality ingredients. Parking is easy. I travel extensively for business and Eastdale B&B is the best accommodation I have stayed in for a very long time."
