"We thought the hotel was great. Very clean and nicely appointed modern rooms. The only complaint is the lighting by the sink is not placed properly. It was hard to do makeup with the light. Lights should be over the mirror. Also the room lighting is too austere."

"This is a perfect place to stay when in Fayetteville. The staff checking in was super nice. The whole place including the room was super clean and smelled clean. Parking was great. It was nice and quiet. Definitely recommend"

"Unfortunately, although it was a non-smoking room. It reeked of marijuana. Besides that these people were kind and helpful. They allowed me and my service cat and service dog to stay. My dog is afraid of big trucks and is very protective of me and a good judge of character."

"Staff was not friendly or welcoming. This hotel is invested with roaches, in the hallways, the rooms, everywhere!! Walking in the hallways you will find bugs that people have stepped on. Would not recommend!! We checked in at 2 PM and checked out by 3 PM due to the uncleanliness and bugs. The line was terrible with one girl working the front desk. I turned my key into a cleaning lady close to the front desk."

"Check in didn’t go smoothly and had to change from a double bed room to a single bed room. After check in, our room didn’t have towels and didn’t smell clean."

"Cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. What a gem of a location too! Tip, if you stay Sunday night, a lot of the fun restaurants are closed but there are still a few great ones open. Casa Alejo is so yummy! Everything about The Star is great! I can’t wait to come back."

"As for a clean rooms yes it was clean and I want my room to be clean but as for the staff at night no help & rude our tv wouldn’t work I think if you pay for a room you should have a tv & we received no help we were told maintenance would help in the morning. what good is help in the morning when we are leaving. How about a new room? A working tv? Something other than we can help in the morning!"
