"The room was clean as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. We were staying overnight to be on time the next day for a day of appointments at the Royal Brompton Hospital. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great."

Only minor negative was no elevator for luggage (staff helped carry mine up) and the were floors are squeaky so could hear others staying in the hotel at night and in the morning. Overall, had a great stay and would book again"

"We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!"

"The room was spotless and staff extremely courteous. The floors in the common areas —stone and carpets were very dirty, so a good shampoo or replacement of the carpeting is in order. The muck in the corners of the entranceway, hallways and bar was particularly problematic. The staff was amazing, as was the service and food!!"
