Breakfast is less than basic for the breakfast price paid. One receptionist being difficult, refused to print receipt when not booked through hotel directly. But another reception at other time happily attended the request. "

"A modern and comfortable room, but the poor breakfast service let down the overall enjoyment of the stay. The rooms are well designed and high quality, although there were issues with our lamp (flickering badly, couldn’t use it) and shower (blocked plug hole, not draining). Maintenance issues were reported to reception, but as it was the weekend, I was told there was nobody available to look into it until Monday. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the rest of the room. Breakfast was disappointing....

"Only used for a short stay before flying from Leeds Bradford. It was clean, bed was comfortable and shower was fine. Otherwise we only had 1 drink in the bar before an early night.it was quiet and warm. Building looked a bit sad."

"Was our 3rd or 4th time staying. Car park good. Area around is lovely. Reception area is really nice. Room is clean, large. Bar food was good. Staff were good. Breakfast was okay - staff there were lovely. Pool, changing rooms are nice but steam room not working which was a shame. Welcome arrival from reception always seems lukewarm."

"Loved my stay! The staff was super friendly and nice, felt very welcomed. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and convenient. The breakfast was perfect, I also dinned in the restaurant and loved everything. Banana Toffee Waffle dessert is well worth the calories!"

"The room was clean. However, the bathroom had hair in the bathtub and sink. The bathroom was quite small, so it was difficult to maneuver around. Check-in staff were lovely, but unfortunately, it went downhill quite quickly. The ladies were rude, as well as a gentleman. You would think they were being forced to work there. I stayed for 2 nights; I wouldn't return."

"Hotel location is ideal - next to the train station and less than 10 minute train ride to Manchester City with plenty of trains passing through. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful check-in was easy and there’s a secure luggage room if you arrive a bit early and want to explore without your suitcase. We booked a twin room which was really comfortable, there were big beds, plenty of chairs, storage, hairdryer, kettle with tea and coffee, iron etc. Everything we needed and we had a good...
