The best thing about this apartment is that it is in Old Town, literally steps outside the outer door and you are in the main square. So many historical and important sites and museums are very close and walkable.
That being said: basically, the apartment needs attention and upkeep. It wasn't cleaned well and the overhead shower was broken although the handheld part worked well. The washer worked well.
The check in process was difficult as the main access door electronic code box was not working, but we had to try many times including while talking to the contact on the phone who was not uprised of this situation before our call. Thankfully, there was another access point - but turn on your phone flashlight as there are no lights in the outer areas. It didn't feel unsafe, just couldn't see very well. The pictures they sent for location were not helpful and we think inaccurate. The pictures show a two story building and it is at least a three story strucutre. Our advice: contact the Ego Apartments beforehand and get specific directions and confirmation that all is working and ok.
