"room ia clean and modern. Staff is excelent. Breakfast continental is disapointing: fruit was a single tangerine. noise from road only outside. in our room we have a wall glass opening to a internal patio, with 5 or 6 air conditioning. Noise did not disturb. However there is no blind or curtain in this very large window: light will invade the room at sunrise. "

"Leider müssen wir sagen dass von Jahr zu Jahr sowohl die Sauberkeit als auch die Ausstattung schlechter wird. Preis Leistung sind aus dem Gleichgewicht. Da wir fast jedes Jahr dort wohnen seit 2011 können wir das wirklich beurteilen. Schade denn die Lage ist sehr schön."

"Fantastic hotel in a great location in Stellenbosch within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Staff were a pleasure and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A real shame that there was major building work going on at the property next to this one as it did mean we couldn't really enjoy our balcony or the pool area as it was so noisy - it would have been good to have been advised of this in advance of the stay. Breakfast was delicious and overall we would recommend - if we were...

"Unbelievable! And something quite special and different. Mindblowing views from each room and a private terrace to boot! We walked out from the lodge to 3 wineries. Lunch, dinner, wine tasting. (We didn’t have a car but uber was totally fine to get around) we went to stellenbosch and Franschhoek to do the wine tram. Could have easily stayed longer: Mountain View’s, sunsets, stargazing all part of the package. Incredible. Thank you Banhoek for a wonderful time x"

"Coming from the US and having heard all kinds of stories about SA, I will say this property is very safe and secure, with (free) gated parking. I had a 2 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and had a patio area and kitchen. It was enormous. The staff are very courteous and helpful, and eager to share all the great things Stellenbosch has to offer. Laundry service is a plus and so is the location—walkable to any number of great restaurants and cafes. Great value as well. Highly recommended."

"Stayed for several days in a beautiful location which was easily accessible. The amenities were fabulous and a staff that met our every need or want. The food was great and cocktails exceptional on the rooftop. Try the French onion soup!"
