I stay at The Ven at Embassy Row ever year when I come to DC for the weekend. It is convenient to so many restaurants and bars, and it’s within a couple miles’ walking distance to the pick up spot for a golf cart tour that I like to take. The rooftop bar and pool are amazing, and the views are great. The staff never disappoints. 10/10 recommend.
It was clean and staff was great but some things need better updating/freshened up. Some of fitness equipment was broken. Overall would stay there again.
I loved the room and bathroom and little fridge and safe were great. It was a great local for Dupont Circle and public transport would definitely stay again if rates were agreeable. My only criticism is every time some banged their door my room shook plus the maids talking outside room was annoying.
Visited DC for grad school. And this is my first time traveling alone.
Staff overall was great! Very friendly, very accommodating, and great responsiveness! The lobby is gorgeous, as well as the restaurant but you can tell that that is where most of the renovations were made. The gym equipment was pretty worn down and wasn’t the best. The room is also pretty outdated cosmetically and definitely reflects the age of the hotel, but nothing to make me feel uncomfortable! I thankfully didn’t pay a lot for my stay but some of the prices I seen the hotel charging seems outrageous in my opinion.
This hotel was beautiful and perfect for us. Everything was very clean and the staff was beyond accommodating. The location was perfect for us and is in a very walkable neighborhood. 10/10.
I enjoyed the Ven Hotel very much. The location was close to the metro which you can use to easily get around the entire city. And in general the hotel is close to a lot of main attractions. The hotel has a bar and restaurant which we didn’t use but seemed very inviting. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. The staff advised us on finding restaurants. The hotel roof has a pool a bar and lounge chairs and a great view of the city! Washington was a great city and I would definitely go back and use the Ven. Go!
Great staff, check in/out was very smooth. Room service was fast & complete. My room was ready early & had a bathtub, which made me very happy. Staff was very accommodating to my every request.
The Ven is centrally located on a scenic side street in Dupont Circle with easy access to restaurants, bars, buses, and the Metro. Our room was clean, spacious, and modern, and had everything we needed. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay here again!
The hotel was so great!! A couple thoughts for families… the pool does close at 5pm for kids and goes to 21 and up.
The breakfast was great… we ordered room service for dinner, but it came in Togo boxes so probably wouldn’t have done that if we knew that… and the Caesar salad already had dressing on it in the box so it was soggy and the steak was more M than MR as requested and it was a bit dry…, still it gets a 5 star because everyone was great and we felt like VIP. I know if I would have said something about the steak dinner they would have rectified it… we aren’t too pick so wasn’t worth mentioning.
A great hotel to stay at!!!
