We enjoyed a comfortable and quiet stay that was more affordable than other choices in Waverly. Buscuits and gravy would be a nice addition to their breakfast choices. A repeat customer.

Have stayed at this Super 8 location previously when in Waverly Iowa. Never had issues arise like these. During this stay in early October 2025 my husband used the shower and discover the hotel tried to repair a hole in the shower/tub with a square of white tape. We are elderly and being in a shower where the floor has an actual hole the created unstable footing was dangerous. Not to mention a potential health and safety violation. Made the reservation well in advance of the planned visit. Very disappointed and will never stay in the location again. The room also had a significant odor around the sink area in the room. It did not come from the bathroom which is 4 feet away.

Nice stay and nice service.

We had a nice stay that became even better when they helped us change rooms. Our air conditioner wasn't working in our room. We asked for maintenance to come in but because it would take a while before someone could come in. They moved us to a new with working ac, which made the rest of our stay very nice.

The sign in the room said the beds would be changed every 3 days and we were there a week and sheets weren't changed nor did we get fresh towels. Trash wasn't taken out and we had to ask for toilet paper but other than that, it wasn't bad

Easy access. Available on time. Reasonable cost. Bathroom corners were unclean. Shower was short. The toilet seat was awful and appeared filthy; it was just acid washed deteriorated plastic as if uric acid had burnt through the plastic. The back of bathroom door had holes instead of hooks. The corners next to tub and door were awful filthy. Property had an ask to clean room/change sheets/get towels policy instead of room would be cleaned daily unless told to not disturb via sign. The letter stating policy was written poorly. I took pictures of the bad quality bathroom for reference.

Very decent for a quick overnight in Waverly

It was certainly adequate for a quick trip to Waverly. Arrived at 1 am and no one came to the front desk in response to the door bell soynd that chimed loudly 6-8 times, but someone did finally come when I dialed zero on the phone. It's bare bones and no frills, but clean, with comfortable beds, and decent TV, as well as fridge and microwave.
