This place is a DUMP! I didn’t have hot water. They said, “oh old pipes, let it run for a while.” After 30 mins waiting, I took cold showers all weekend. Had to ask for someone to cover the window. No window covering when I got there. Had to go over a cub to get to park in front of my room. Beds were terrible with scratch sheets. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel. Say away!!!

Driveway in the back is completely destroyed. I felt like i needed a jeep to cross it. The staff was helpful. The room was decent. Old but serviceable rooms.

Honestly a really disgusting place. There was drunk people outside all night with loud music. No bed covers. A lot of cockroaches. The ac was sticky. We left after the first night. We couldn’t get the rest of our money back but how bad the place was we really didn’t care to lose 100 dollars because it was the worse place I’ve stayed in my whole entire life.

While I understand this was a cheap motel, there were a few things I couldn’t get past. The exterior was horrible with tripping hazards that look to have been there for some time. The “residents”. The room looked like they had updated it but left unfinished. Missing trim. Dirty caulking. Patches on the walls. Door not closing all the way (but secure) and the bugs.

This hotel is advertised as being remodeled, but it was done very poorly. Some areas looked very nice, but there are holes in the wall, there is water leaking into the ceiling with mold, the curtains or torn, and the air conditioner sounded like a Truck in the room with you. The bathroom was not clean and the finish work in there was laughable. There was hot water and clean towels. The TV did not work. By booking with Expedia, we probably paid twice what we would have if we had contacted the hotel directly …..lesson learned.

Stayed for 1 night and did NOT have high expectation for 2 star motel. There was NO bugs/roach, as some people reported. Pros - Motel within walkable distance of Walmart, Fast food (Mc Donalds, Arbys, Panda, Braums, Starbucks, Subway), CVS, Gas station etc. Cons - Only coffe offered, no tea. Rooms and motel needs remodelling. Floor had crack, door had crack, wash basin had a crack, room door would NOT lock from outside, A/c water leaking outside the room etc. Parking lot was small and had water puddle, due to rain. The road towards motel has lot of pothole and its NOT visible at night. Price seemed little high for 2 star old motel for 1 night stay. Overall old building and needs to be worked upon. If you ignore above Cons, then definately would recommed this motel for night stay.

I had the worst experience at this Econo Lodge. I'm a known travel agent, in the local Tarrant County and Parker County area. I had the worst experience in my whole career, staying at this hotel. And I've been a travel agent for 25 years out of Las Vegas, NV. The hospitality was appalling and the customer service was nil. I had issues with the other tenants, because of their loud and rambunctious behavior. The police were called, and I was escorted off the property, without any thorough investigation by the property staff. The staff only listened to the other tenants complaints and failed to acknowledge mine. In fact, they were so eager to get me off the premises, they called the cops. The officer who escorted me off the property, felt so bad, that he gave me and my luggage a ride to another hotel. He also mentioned that this Econo Lodge Mineral Wells, TX was known for their poor hospitality. I strongly recommend, that anyone who considers staying here, should be prepared for the unknown. It was a surprise to me, that I was escorted off the property for something I didn't even do. Not to mention embarrassing. Don't put yourselves in this situation by staying there. You'll be surprised.
