"If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....

"I was a bit hesitant to book as I saw a few comments speak on the hotel being noisy or the interior was very old. However, it was a good stay. The staff was nice, the place was well maintained, the breakfast was pretty good and there weren't any issues with noise. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, and the interior was good. "Room was tight. Outlet in bath didn’t work so we couldn’t use the hair dryer. Breakfast was average at best."

"When I checked in, early at 2, was told that the room was clean and ready to check in, and asked if had privacy as needed privacy. When i got to the room, it was NOT ready. The bed sheets were thrown on the bed, towels everywhere, and garbage not taken out. When they gave me a different room, there was NO privacy, the windows facing the inside sitting and eating area. The 3rd ROOM, there was NO information how to use the TV, when i asked, they treated me like i I stupid and little. The...
