"A very beautiful hotel near Christmas time. Very welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast albeit pricey. Dinner options are a bit limited especially if you have smaller children. The location of the hotel is inconvenient if you do not have a hire car. I’d say it is essential . Taxis are very expensive and th bus stop is a long walk from the hotel. "Beautiful hotel with intricate interior throughout which is a wonderful setting to base a stay in Bruges. The hotel is run by John and Michael who are the most incredible hosts, with nothing too much trouble and an incredibly warm welcome. We arrived late on a Friday evening but we're greeted and shown to our room with lots of information about the city. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of choice and high quality fresh ingredients from yoghurt, fruits, granola, breads and pastries, eggs...

"First the warm welcome from the staff at check-in, they got us checked in, and then gave us a rundown of a few things to see in Brugge, where to eat and what to avoid. The room was clean, huge in size, and quiet. Only downside was the mattress was a little bit hard. The front desk team were very amenable to our requests too."
